With rugged construction that can handle the most extreme conditions, the chassis comes complete with 6” aluminum A-frame for long-lasting and rust-free protection and also offers significant weight savings and corrosion resistance.
SUSPENSION
The ERV has a fully off-road independent suspension as standard for off-road driving in the most rugged terrain with no limits. Also fitted with all-terrain off-road tyres, the ERV is suitable for all conditions, no matter how rough it gets.
Towing your travel trailer across the most challenging terrains has never been easier. Our 4.4T (8,880 lbs) off-road trailing arm suspension also comes standard along with tandem axles and 12” brakes.
The ERV’s sturdy and durable off-road suspension incorporates an almost 90-degree angle between the trailing arm and the shock absorbers are set at ride height which provides optimum performance. This results in a smoother ride and protects the mechanical integrity of the entire installation.
A coil spring is also placed in the optimum position on top of the axle for improved performance. An innovative bump stop for the top shock absorber limits the travel of the trailing arm assembly at full extension (for example when the wheel is in the air). This also holds the coil spring in position and protects the shock absorbers.
Rigidity is improved by a double locking tow adjustment and camber adjustment on the inside far end, providing maximum mechanical advantage.
